High-pressure water jetting is how we shift grease, silt, soft scale and many root intrusions without opening the ground. For homeowners with slow drains and for commercial kitchens with grease risk, it’s often the difference between a temporary poke and a properly cleaned run.
Pressure is set to suit the pipe. A follow-up CCTV survey can confirm the result.
For commercial kitchens and sites, we also offer planned jetting for commercial kitchens, booked around your trading hours.
What’s covered
- High-pressure water jetting for domestic and commercial drains
- Grease, silt and soft-scale removal
- Root cutting where appropriate, with follow-up advice on lasting fixes
- Pre / post CCTV when you want proof of condition
- Support for planned cleans before winter, events or peak kitchen use
How we work
We jet from a suitable access point with pressures matched to the pipe material and blockage. Wrong pressure or wrong nozzle can damage older pipe — experience matters.
Jetting clears soft deposits; hard defects (collapses, severe offsets) still need repair or lining afterwards. We’ll say so if the camera or the jet behaviour shows a structural problem.
If you want to see the cleaned pipe, ask about a CCTV drain survey when you book.

Frequently asked questions
- Is jetting the same as unblocking?
- Jetting is one of the main tools for clearing. A simple mechanical clear can work for some blockages; severe collapses need repair, not more water pressure.
- Will jetting remove tree roots permanently?
- Jetting / root cutting can clear the obstruction, but roots often return if the pipe is cracked. CCTV after cutting tells you whether lining or excavation is the lasting fix.
- Do you jet commercial kitchen drains?
- Yes where in scope — grease-heavy runs benefit from proper jetting and a maintenance plan. Tell us the site type and access when you enquire.
- Can I have CCTV after jetting?
- If a drain keeps blocking after it's been cleared, a CCTV drain survey shows the cause. Ask us when you book.
